The Open Grove is an exciting new Caribbean rum brand, bringing together passion and expertise to craft exceptional spirits. Their signature creation, Distiller's Blend, is the culmination of years of meticulous research and experimentation with some of the world’s finest rums.
Project Overview
The Open Grove reached out to me to design the branding for their new rum product, including both the front and back labels, as well as a complete brand identity. I developed a logo and crafted a full branding suite for them. The design brief for the bottle centered on highlighting the origins of the rum—sugar canes—while ensuring the design conveyed a sense of minimalism, modernity, and bespoke craftsmanship, reflective of a premium, high-quality product.
Outcome
The final outcome for The Open Grove's rum branding was a sleek, modern logo and minimalist bottle design that emphasized the product’s sugar cane origins. The branding conveyed a high-end, bespoke feel while remaining contemporary and approachable, successfully reflecting the artisanal quality of the rum and standing out on the shelf.
